Abstract:

Rooted in the context of Chinese modernization and practical innovation， the Communist Party of China （CPC） has successfully constructed a socialist modernization theoretical discourse with “Reform and Opening-up” as its core symbol. From the “comprehensively deepening reform” of the Third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee to the “further comprehensively deepening reform” of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee， the CPC in the new era has continuously deepened its theoretical understanding of socialist modernization. The CPC’s persistent promotion of the reform and opening up discourse has achieved a transcendent construction of Western modernization concepts across the three dimensions of “time-space-subject，” and creatively rewritten Western modernization theories through the triple narrative of “emotion-practice-belief.” The results are systematically formulated new ideas， new perspectives， and new judgments on comprehensively deepening reform. This further demonstrates the practical character of Chinese modernization， highlighting its unique Chinese characteristics， and expanding its global significance. Ultimately， these victories break the myth of Western modernization while advancing and expanding Chinese modernization.
