Abstract:

The theory of the self-revolution of the Party profoundly elucidates the typological characteristics of the Communist Party of China （CPC） as a mission-driven political party. In terms of theoretical paradigm， the CPC transcends structuralist analysis by achieving a dialectical unity between historical inevitability and subjective agency， responds to the issue of party adaptability through a dynamic logic of maintaining its advanced nature， and challenges the “Western-centric” assumptions with the practical effectiveness of Chinese modernization. Internally， the CPC upholds the unity of historical progression and proactive spirit to generate its mission， maintains consistency between historical direction and responsiveness to contemporary challenges in carrying out its mission， and insists on integrating the transformation of the subjective world with that of the objective world to sustain its mission. In practice， the CPC must always maintain a high level of mission consciousness. This consciousness manifests as a unity of historical awareness and subjectivity， theoretical awareness， and practical awareness； in content， it represents a profound response to advancing the great social revolution and is externalized as the practical path of leading social revolution through the Party's self-revolution.
